Centrifugal Cast Bronze Components

ASI's centrifugally cast bronzes are specified for numerous gear,

bearing, and bushing  applications due to their superior strength

and high-end performance.

Accurate Specialties manufactures turned bronze components for:

bulletEngineered Components
bulletGearing
bulletBearings
bulletBushings
bulletNuts

Key Benefits

bulletIncreased Physical Properties:  Tensile, creep, and fatigue strength are increased over static and investment casting methods. With parts formed under pressure many times that of gravity, parts have a finer and more dense grain structure.
bulletLonger Life: Centrifugal metal purity withstands greater overload and strain without fracture.
bulletEconomical: The centrifugal process provides production of a diversity of sizes and shapes. Near net tooling can be designed to further reduce cost on higher volume components.
bulletDefects Eliminated: Directional solidification of centrifugal castings push impurities towards the center riser area. The result is a part free of shrinkage cavities, gas pockets and blowholes. Expensive machining time is not wasted on defective parts.
bullet3" to 50"+ Diameters: Standard tooling is available for numerous centrifugal cast diameters from 3 to more than 50 inches. For higher volume components, near-net-shape tooling can be designed to further reduce cost.
bulletMachining: CNC turning offers quick turnarounds and high precision, with diameters held to tolerances as tight as .0005 inch.  OD chucking capabilities from 1 to 56 inches and ID chucking to 59 inches allow for turning diameters to 71 inches.
